Word Bearers: Gal Vorbak Conversions WIP part 2

Hey all, Eric here. I’ve added the *nearly* sculpting completed pics of the remaining 3 squad members.

The surprised monster:

This one started as a “What would the monster do if you got the drop on it?” Answer: whip around and kill you anyways.

For this one I took exclusively from the forsaken regiment for the hand and head. The gun was from a different gal Vorbak model. I was really happy that I got a completely different pose with the same base body.

The Blade master:

Deceptively straightforward. The double arm hilt is from the forsaken again, but the blade is from one of the  Khorne baddies from the Age of Sigmar box set I believe. The blade will keep the fire motif going that is on the shoulder pad and body.  Once I settle

Humanity Lost:

I knew I wanted to do a helmet-less head on one of the Gal Vorbak. I really liked the horned head from the Varaguard set. I used a pretty straightforward monster hand for the right arm, I wanted a screaming/ reaching out vibe, and for the left I really liked the 3 bladed fingers, reminded me of the cabbie from total recall.
Since these pics I’ve done a bunch of clean up modeling Andrade started painting.

I’ll follow up with a post on how I paint my traitor red. I shot pics of 2 of these guys at each step of the process.

Until next time.
